On our "Mommy & Me" date today, Charlotte and I took a tour of the Cornelius Fire Station with a group.
She was THRILLED to see the large "beep-beeps", FOUR of them parked in the station.
The kids were released for nearly 40 minutes of hands-on discovery!
Mommy got to try on a firefighter jacket and let all the kids touch it.
#1 shows Charlotte discovering the practice "dummy" that the FF's use.
She was ultimately freaked out by this doll and wouldn't go near it even if I was holding her.
#2 She found a hose nozzle and kept sticking her fingers inside.
#3 She got to try out the driver's seat for a minute. She kept pushing all the many buttons on the dash!
#4 She loved the large open space of the garage where she could run around.
#5 The siren was one of her favorite parts. She kept trying to yell into it like it was a megaphone.
