Took the two kiddos to the Dr. today:
Noah has gained 19 0z in 21 days, most recently 14 oz. in 2 weeks, so about an oz. a day, VERY GOOD! He is 6 lbs, 13 oz. now, 3rds percentile. He goes back November for his first shots. He is exclusively breastfed except for 1-2 oz. of formula at night. He's been pretty gassy (BOYS!), but responds really well to gas drops. He is *almost* starting to fit into the newborn size clothing. He is starting to focus on our faces and is attracted to lights. He may begin smiling any day now! Doctor says he has a strong head/neck and can bear weight on his legs well (stand).
Charlotte weighs 21 1/2 lbs., 25th percentile, and is 31 1/2 inches tall. She got 3 shots and only cried long enough to make it out to the car. Her head is measuring in the 75th percentile. Must be her BIG BRAIN! She is now speaking over twenty words (Mama, Dada, baby, graham cracker, juice cup, bottle, ball, shoes, night-night, Nana, Roxie, doggy, quack, duckie, snack-cup, Mmmm, Yum-Yum, yes, no, bye-bye) and babbling "conversations" to us all day long. She goes back after Christmas for her 18 (19) month checkup.
