At 8 weeks I am starting to smile...almost! My eyes light up and the corners of my mouth go up. I am much more wiggly and can entertain myself for 20 minutes or more. I love my bouncer or play mat where I can kick and bat toys with my arms. I can coo and make really adorable baby noises, especially my famous monkey noise. I hold eye contact much better now. I am sleeping through the night (well, I have been for a while, but naps are a different story...) I'm starting to grow out of the Newborn size and wearing more of my 0-3 months size. My thighs are getting chubbier and my noggen is growing larger too! Mommy says I'm a little moth since I am fascinated with looking at lights - windows, bulbs, TV light. Tomorrow the Dr. will weigh me and see how much I've grown in 4 weeks!....UPDATE: I weigh 8 1/2 pounds! That means I'm gaining more than an ounce a day! I also braved 3 shots today!
