During Spring Break this week we hope to finally complete the nursery! Here are some in progress pictures from this weekend from Ted's painting adventures...
We painted a nice pale apple color.
Monday I'll try painting the white picket fence with red ladybugs. Roxie liked to snuggle up on the paint-tarps and take a nap as seen in the picture.
Today I worked with friends, Kelly and Erin, to address baby shower envelopes.
Kelly brought her baby Ella over today and Roxie went nuts when I held her. She was very excited and curious.
I couldn't resist going into BabyGap again and finding a cute outfit on clearance... It's hot pink and says "little peanut" on the front.
We're still struggling to keep Yertle the Turtle away from Roxie, but she goes and sits in the nursery by herself looking up at the shelf and barking for it. She got a hold of the ladybug pillow last night and tried to use it as a chew-toy. This is really going to be struggle training her to keep her paws off of BABY toys that are not ROXIE toys!
